First things first, the URL. You may not have noticed it, but my URL is now officially taylorwaynecolon.com. If you still have a taylorwaynecolon.weebly.com link laying around, it's all good. The link will re-direct you here. This is a very big change for myself, despite what anyone says.
The next thing you will need to take a look at is my store. It's been fixed up and remodeled by Weebly's new store layout. Very proud of it's new appearance. Very sleek in my opinion. The final thing I want to add is that I am going through every page on here and editing parts out or adding things, especially the Biography page. Several parts of that page are irrelevant now or no longer apparent, such as Taylor Productions, which has been shut down nearly a year. Other parts will be edited and showing more information, such as Wolf In Vain. As for Taylor Productions, I have been receiving more and more emails lately about it's whereabouts. Again, it has been shut down. This is due to my dear friend, Christopher Salinas taking the reigns as the CEO, and taking the company we started to where it needs to be as I could no longer function as a CEO. I have too many projects for that kind of position. So keep an eye out for all the new site sections and what not. I will be adding a few "secret" art pages for those who like to seek out hidden treasures. Take care! For those who don't know, Wolf In Vain is in the process of writing. This is why we have not been doing any shows lately. On the bright side, We have several demos and incredibly speedy riffs on the plate. More news will come shortly. Part 1 of my six part series is done. Will be starting part 2 in a couple days. Not going to lie, "In the Beginning" was not an easy tackle, mainly due to the headstock of the guitar. I was really happy the way the buildings turned out, though. The buildings were inspired by my city of birth, Dallas, Texas. January was a great month for art. Can't wait for everyone to see what I have in store for February. Anytime someone purchases or is gifted an art piece from me, it's a difficult parting. Every piece is special to me in it's own way. Nonetheless, this is always an exciting event. I get to see my art off to a new home. But I will always miss the times of doing said pieces. This week marks the first week of 2015 that I have sold an art piece. Pictured below and in my gallery, "Farmhouse" will be travelling out of state to it's new owner. Due to my respect and care for their well being, all buyer information will remain undisclosed. Apologies in advance: I do NOT directly sell nor do commission work for those outside of the United States of America and Canada.
It's 2:00 a.m. here. For most, that's sleeping time. For an artist, such as myself, this is a creative hour. Anyhow, later on, I will be unveiling the 1st major art piece of 2015. For now, I'm readying to start the draft for February's piece. Also, a closeup of the January piece is pictured below. Many heard I was moving to Allen, Texas. Some have heard Plano. Regardless, I'm staying in the McKinney area. I've fallen in love (so to speak) with the town itself and a plus is that art is a major part of the city.
On another note, I will be appearing even more frequently in McKinney's downtown area (as if I'm not there enough). If you see me or anyone from All Saints Names Productions that may be hanging there with me, don't hesitate to give us a holler. Especially if you are an artist. I may be a great artist, but that doesn't mean I won't stop and chat with another artist or two or three. On a final note, I pointed out recently that I would be releasing one major art piece each month. The unveilings will occur the first Friday after the month. This being said, January's piece will be unveiled this Friday (February 6th). Keep an eye out. It may be featured on some websites even earlier. No promises. Thanks for sticking around, guys. Glad to have as many fans as I do. Keep it real. Stay safe. Everyone have a great week. |
