Wolf In Vain: Major Update
The announcement is here.
Wolf In Vain is ready to announce that we are writing and nearly ready for recording a 2015 album. That's right. 2015. It is slated for either the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year, but the official release date as yet to be decided. The album title is set, but will not be released until we are closer to the album's release. Album art will be released shortly after the title. This album is very much thrash, even more so than the 2013 EP, "Thrash and Burn". Current subjects in the lyrics, currently include nights out on the town, the Holocaust, metal itself, and more.
There are currently four demo tracks that are finished. They are ready for recording in the studio. Three more songs are demoed, but only 1/2 to 2/3 written. An 8th track is only concept right now. There are several other tracks that have been recorded, but are likely to not make it to the record. They may be released later down the road on other albums.
The studio we will record at has yet to be decided, but we do have eyes set on a specific one. We may not record there, but we might. As we are not ready for that stage yet, we can't truly decide.
After the release of this album, "Thrash and Burn" will be taken back to the studio, and we will be re-writing and re-recording it. The artwork will be slightly different, as well as it will display our official logo, as we did not yet have one in 2013.
We will be getting new merchandise in our store this summer. This will include t-shirts and other items, even the POSSIBILITY of a custom flask. We will also be adding in embroidered patches. However, at the time of release, we will only be offering a small patch. Large back patches are not in the works...yet.
That's all for now. We will be giving more updates on the album, as well as uploading clips and videos, showcasing some of the riffs. Next update will be later this month.
